News from the Pema Chodron Foundation

In the next couple of days, Pema will be starting a one year retreat. She won’t be teaching during that time but will be in full swing in 2013. The good news is that we’ll be offering a one-day online retreat on Pema’s birthday, July 14. We’ll let you know more as the time gets closer.

We have been blessed with a grant!
Thanks to Oliver S. and Jennie R. Donaldson Charitable Trust, the Foundation has received a $10,000 for our Book Initiative Program. This program supplies Pema’s books at no charge to underserved women and the organizations that help them. We first offered this program in Spring 2011 and were overwhelmed with requests from around the world.
We’ll be making this offering again starting at the beginning of the year. For more information, please contact Margie – here.

Our online bookstore now has Pema’s calendars! We have limited number of wall and mini calendars, along with engagement books. These are lovely calendars with quotes by Pema.
